For friends and parties

Trivia for friends, on everyone's phones

Put the quiz on the TV, show the QR code, and you are playing in under a minute. Nobody has to download anything, and everyone sees where they rank after every question.

How to host a trivia night

  1. Open Brain Bell on a laptop connected to the TV, and use Full screen.
  2. Pick a ready-made round, or write questions about your own friends.
  3. Everyone scans the code and types a name.
  4. Play, argue about the answers, and crown a winner on the podium.

Ideas that work well

  • Questions about the group. Write a quiz about the birthday person or a shared trip. They are often the best round of the night.
  • Opinions with no right answer. Polls and word clouds show who thinks what, and start good arguments.
  • Teams. Split the room in two, or families against friends. Scores are averaged, so uneven teams stay fair.

Questions people ask

How many people can play?
Hundreds can join one quiz, so a family gathering or a big party is no problem.
Do we need a TV?
It helps, but it is not required. The questions and answers appear on every phone too, so any shared screen, or none, will work.
Can I reuse a quiz I made?
Yes. It stays saved in your browser, and you can send it to a friend as a link.
