Brain Bell is free. Every student gets three short puzzles each day, or you can write your own questions and run them live with a QR code. Nothing to sign up for, and it works on school Chromebooks and phones.
Three ways to use it
- Projector warm-up. Turn on Projector mode and solve the daily puzzles together. Each puzzle has a Reveal answer button for you.
- Live quiz. Show a QR code. Students scan it and play at the same time, solo or in teams, with a podium and a Bell Boss to beat together. Start with a ready-made quiz.
- Your own questions. Write a quiz for your lesson, club or team, with twelve question types to choose from, and play it live. Quizzes stay in your browser and can be shared as a link or a file.
Built for a classroom
- Same for everyone. A new set of daily puzzles appears every day at local midnight.
- Private. No student accounts and no real names on our servers. Pick avatars and fun names, seat numbers, or private roster codes.
- Easy to read. Clear type, large buttons, full keyboard play and light or dark display.
- Works offline. After the first visit, today's daily puzzles load even when the Wi-Fi does not.
- Fits phone-free classrooms. Students can join on Chromebooks or tablets, and the daily puzzles work on one projector with no student devices at all.
Our privacy promise
Students are never asked for names, emails or birthdays, and we show no ads and use no third-party trackers. Live quizzes are held in memory while they run and are gone when they end. Read the plain-language policy.
