For students and teachers
Free quiz games for students, with no logins
Pick a ready-made quiz or write your own. Students scan a QR code, get a fun name, and answer on their own device. You never have to collect an email or a real name.
Why it works in a classroom
- Fast to start. One tap joins a student with a generated name like "Brave Otter", so little time goes on setup.
- Fair for every learner. The speed bonus can be switched off, students can ask for extra time, and every question can be read aloud.
- Everyone can win together. Turn on the Bell Boss and the whole class works toward one shared goal, or split into teams with averaged scores.
- Works on what you have. Chromebooks, tablets and phones, with nothing to install.
Student privacy
Students are not asked for an account, an email, a birthday or a photo. If you want real names on your screen, roster codes keep them in your own browser: our server only ever sees the codes.
A simple way to run it
- Use it as a five-minute warm-up, or to check understanding after a lesson.
- After each question, look at how the class answered before moving on.
- When many students chose the same wrong answer, stop and talk about why.

Questions people ask
- Do students need an account or an email?
- No. They scan a QR code or type a six-character code, and they are in.
- Our school does not allow phones. Can we still use it?
- Yes. Students can join on Chromebooks, tablets or laptops by typing the code. The daily puzzles also work with one projector and no student devices at all.
- What grades is it for?
- The ready-made quizzes suit roughly grades 3 to 8, and the daily puzzles cover grades 2 to 7. You can write your own questions for any age.
- Can I see how each student did?
- Yes. At the end you can download results as a spreadsheet. Turn on anonymous results if you would rather not have names in it.
- Is it distracting?
- It is built to stay calm: phones are silent by default, and motion stops for anyone who has asked their device to reduce it.
