For large groups and events
A live quiz for large groups, with no per-player fee
Assemblies, conferences, town halls and community events: hundreds of people can join one quiz from their own phones, and it costs the same as playing with ten. It is free.
Built for a big room
- One tap to join. A QR code on the big screen and a single button on the phone, so a crowd can get in quickly.
- Readable from the back. Large type, a full screen mode, and an answered meter that fills as people respond.
- Everyone gets their moment. The top players are on the big screen, and every player sees their own rank on their phone.
- Light on the Wi-Fi. Phones only receive what changes for them, which keeps each player's data use small.
- Host controls. Lock joining when the room is full, pause the clock, and find and remove any player by name.
Before your event
- Run a short test with a few colleagues on the venue's Wi-Fi.
- Check that the venue network allows WebSocket connections, or ask people to use mobile data.
- Keep the join screen up for a few minutes before you start, so latecomers can scan.
What to expect if a connection drops
Phones reconnect by themselves and keep their score. If everyone in a very large room loses their connection at the same moment, it can take around twenty seconds for all of them to get back, so use the Pause button and wait for the online count to recover.
